Welcome to Canvas and Sail Loft / Bespoke Textile and Upholstery Solutions. By accessing our website, requesting a quote, or purchasing our products and custom fabrication services, you agree to be bound by the following Terms of Service.

1. APPLICATION & BUSINESS IDENTIFICATION

These Terms apply to all visitors, clients, and purchasers using our website or hiring our services. Our business operates out of Beaconsfield, Québec, Canada, providing custom textile manufacturing, marine canvas fabrication, automotive upholstery, and related commercial sewing solutions. 2. QUOTATIONS, MEASUREMENTS, & PROJECT APPROVALS

* Quotes are valid for 14 calendar days from the date of issuance unless otherwise stated.

* Customers providing self-measured dimensions for custom boat boom covers, lazy packs, headliners, structural frames, or other projects assume full responsibility for measurement accuracy. We are not liable for poor fitment resulting from incorrect client-supplied dimensions or blueprints.

* Custom orders enter production only upon receipt of a deposit and formal approval of project specifications.

3. PRICING & PAYMENT TERMS

* All prices are listed in Canadian Dollars (CAD) unless explicitly noted otherwise.

* For custom fabrication projects, an upfront deposit (typically 60%) is required before raw materials are ordered or work begins. The remaining balance is due immediately upon completion or prior to final shipment/release.

* We reserve the right to modify pricing on our website without prior notice.

4. INSTALLATION & PROPERTY ACCESS

For services requiring work on boats, vehicles, or commercial premises:

* The client must ensure that vehicles or marine vessels are accessible, clean, and safe for our technicians.

* We are not responsible for pre-existing wear, brittle interior trim, aging fiberglass, or underlying structural corrosion discovered during upholstery or canvas removal.

5. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY & DESIGN OWNERSHIP

All structural designs, custom patterns, origami crease layouts, technical schematics, and images displayed on our website or created during the fabrication process remain the intellectual property of Canvas and Sail Loft / Bespoke Textile and Upholstery Solutions unless released under a separate written agreement.

6. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by Québec law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products, delay in custom fabrication timelines due to supply chain disruptions, or improper customer maintenance of marine and automotive fabrics.

7. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Québec and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any legal disputes shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Québec.
